KC and the Sunshine Band to Headline Foundation Gala
The Mesquite ISD Education Foundation proudly presents A Lone Star Legacy, featuring music super group KC and the Sunshine Band live in concert on March 26, 2010.
The Foundation’s fourth annual benefit concert and dinner will be held at Resistol Arena (1818 Rodeo Drive, Mesquite). The gala dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the concert at 8 p.m.
2010 Southern Regional Sport Stacking Championships Presented by Wonderful Pistachios
The World Sport Stacking Association is hosting its Southern Regional Tournament in Mesquite, Texas. Wonderful Pistachios brings this fast paced speed stacking event where top finishers in each age division will receive medals. Hundreds of participants will enter to see if they can have the fastest stacking time in the 3-3-3, the 3-6-3, or the cycle. There will also be a team relay and a doubles division. T-shirts, cups and concessions will all be on sale also.
